"Anthony is the first person in years I have trusted 100% with the complete care of my dogs! He goes above and beyond in many ways and offers great advice on dog health and training which is especially helpful for my older dog who has special needs!"

"Anthony Hardt of Left Coast Dogs is more than a dog-walker. For Spencer, my 2 year-old Spinone, he is a second father. For me, he is my counsel on proper health and training of my best friend.
Anthony and his wife Jackie treat all dogs as part of their family and are extremely attentive to the well-being of the four-legged clients as well as their owners. He has helped me work through Spencer's digestive-irritability and has provided training for addressing bad habits, with great success on both issues.
Spencer goes crazy as soon as he hears the green VW dogmobile drive up for his daily walk and greets Anthony with the same vigorous excitement as if his owners were coming home after a long day. And if you want to curb your dogs' over-excited behavior, have them stay a night or two at Anthony and Jackie's, commonly referred to as "Dogtown". With one or two other boarders, Anthony is attentive to how the dogs get along and pairs them for the best self-entertaining value.
No dog can ask for a better companion outside your own family and that's the reason Left Coast Dogs is considered a big part of our family.
To say that Anthony of Left Coast Dogs is just a dog-walker is like saying cell-phones are just another fad."

“Our dogs are our ‘kids’ and we wanted someone who would take as good of care of our dogs as we would ourselves and make sure they get plenty of daily exercise without just letting them run amuk at the dog park. From the minute Anthony met our dogs, sharing his knowledge and expertise, to seeing him interact with the dogs…the choice became obvious. Anthony is extremely honest, caring, knowledgeable, trustworthy and dependable. It’s great to see someone fully engaged in their passion for work and taking such extraordinary efforts to see that his clients’ dogs are healthy and cared for as if they were his own.”

"Anthony has worked with our dog, Brixton, since we moved to West Seattle. When Anthony started walking him, Brixton was a very eager, anxious young pup with few leash-manners. He was not yet well-socialized and had difficulty being calm on a leash, especially when there were other dogs in the vicinity. My boyfriend and I felt guilty having anyone walk him except ourselves, because walking him was not quite enjoyable, but rather a chore! Enter Anthony.
He spent a few walks with Brixton getting to know and understand his behavior and anxiety. He then provided us with many useful suggestions on how to work with a dog who had leash anxiety, and he socialized Brixton so he was able to walk with five other dogs! We used Anthony's advice to keep Brixton calm on-leash and correct his anxious behavior.
Now when we walk Brixton, instead of my shoulder aching and him pulling me down the street, the leash actually drags on the ground! Anthony has helped us gain experience as first-time dog owners, and Brixton's favorite days are when Anthony takes him for a walk with his other canine pals! Anthony has made our lives as dog (and cat) owners much easier, and there is nobody I would rather trust to care for my animal family."

"Our dog seems completely at ease with Anthony. We believe that it's due not only to Anthony's presence with and treatment of the dogs but his absolute LOVE of the dogs. He's so in tune with the dogs we're starting to think that Anthony might be part dog himself!"
